Built on Service. Focused on Safety.
Aeterna Training Academy provides professional, safety-focused firearm instruction designed to build confidence, sound judgment, and skills that last a lifetime.
Training That Never Ends. Skills That Last a Lifetime.
We believe firearm ownership carries real responsibility. Our mission is to give every student — whatever their starting point — the safety habits, technical skill, and sound judgment to carry a firearm responsibly for the rest of their life. Courses are tailored for new owners, developing shooters, families, and students seeking practical personal-protection knowledge.
Alejandro Duenas
Founder & Lead Instructor
Alejandro Duenas is a United States Army veteran who served three years of active duty with the 7th Infantry Division, 1st Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment (1/9 Infantry), followed by nine additional years of service in the Army National Guard. That service instilled a discipline and respect for firearms that now forms the foundation of every course taught at Aeterna Training Academy.
After transitioning from military service, Alejandro pursued NRA certification to bring that same level of professionalism and safety discipline to civilian instruction. Today, he teaches new owners, families, and experienced shooters alike — meeting every student exactly where they are and building them up from there.
